gtkpod software package provides manage songs and playlists on an Apple iPod, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gtkpod
gtkpod is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gtkpod package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gtkpod *
You will get with gtkpod package name, version, architecture and description in a table
